Not much better than Traktors mapping UI
The program does pretty much the same thing as Traktors built-in component it mimics but with pretty design. The UI paradigm is exactly same as in Traktor: user-hostile selection from long nested menus of submenus. It does make up for some of most horrific Traktors shortcomings. It provides things we take for granted from software like copy/paste and ability to change assignment and channel of a set of selected mappings. These alone make it worth $8. But it also makes things more inconvenient since there is no immediate way to test that the mappings work. Instead you have to save then import into Traktor.
I suspect this was created by some NativeInstruments engineers to make some extra $$ on side. It shows exact same disregard for user experience and interface design principles as the orignal Traktors controller manager. It also mysteriously can parse and generate Traktors proprietary .tsi files.
The only reason it got 3 stars instead of one is because Traktors controller manager is such an atrocity against users. Any improvement over that feels massive.
